Rules

Area scoring with 7.5 komi, capture by removing groups with no liberties, suicide forbidden, positional superko, and final scoring after two passes plus both players agreeing to count. Endgame starts when both players pass or neither side can play. On Polar boards, the true center is useful for connection but the center alone does not claim a whole empty region. Square, honeycomb, and triangular boards use four, three, and six graph neighbors respectively.
